Remembering Fizzikal: The Legend of Charlz Dogo
Fizzikal, later recognized by his legal name Charlz Dogo, was a skilled Christian Hip Hop artist who fearlessly distinguished himself through his smooth flows and impactful messages. He was a member of YWAP and its rap ensemble, Soul Flame. Additionally, he played a role in the music collective, Loud Clique, alongside NUTTY Josh, OJ Wyte, Danny Beats, and Rymsta Ray.
Under the name Charlz Dogo, he released a body of work, the Genesis EP, along with several singles featuring collaborations with some of the finest Christian rappers from both local and international scenes. Charlz Dogo wasn't merely a Christian rapper; he was a devout believer who passionately represented the gospel and served as an exemplary leader to many.
Charlz Dogo held a Law degree from the University of Abuja and was admitted to the bar.
In his freestyle clip for the song "Highs and Lows," Charles bravely shared his battle with Sickle Cell Anemia.

Here are a few tributes from some of Charlz' fellow creatives and friends;
"A Big Shout out to a soldier, Charlz Dogo who stood tall labouring for the Lord while he was on earth. He was steadfast & fervent in Spirit serving the Lord in all dimensions. You could literally feel that presence through his music. He is one to remember always in the CHH family in Nigeria & beyond. If there was one thing I can remember about Charlz Dogo is his supporting Spirit. He was always there anytime I'm planning or hosting an event. He was always available. It was a great privilege to have him on stage at The Rap Invasion 2 Event (Prison Break) in 2021 hosted by Rap Community Network (RCN) before his demise...I guess that was the last event he attended while ministering before he passed on to be with the Lord.
Keep Resting in the Bossom of the Lord Brother...
We miss you dearly...
CHH miss you...
Rap Community Network miss you..." - 𝐊'𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐥𝐞
" 'Yaron Dogo' as I'll always call you, your phenomenal style of rap was so melodious to the ears. You will forever be remembered, rest in power, King."
