The Girl With A Muslim Name Who's Unashamed of Christ

Over the years we have seen how cancel culture and lethargy have made many sportspersons become impassive about their faiths and beliefs but in this generation, some remnants defy the odds. Keep reading as HHHH highlights a girl with a Muslim name who is unashamed of Christ.
Rasheedat Ajibade is an Atletico Femini FC of Spain and Super Falcons of Nigeria player. Her outstanding soccer skills and teamwork make her a  force to reckon with in world football.
Another standout about the Kaduna-born star is her unapologetic attitude of talking about her faith, expressing gratitude and showing off apparel with faith-based inscriptions.

Recall that in August 2022 after Rasheedat flaunted a shirt with the inscription:
"THANK YOU JESUS"

A tweep, Gboyega took to Twitter to advise her on and it reads:
"Rasheedat, there is nothing wrong in being faithful to the God that you serve, prayer and hard work will you to greater heights. However as a professional in highly commercialised sports soccer, you don't need to over-hype religion, there may be endorsement that goes to the middle east."

Howbeit such shallow-minded remarks couldn't make her feign her faith as she replied to him that endorsement will still come. Isn't that remarkable?

On Tuesday, 25th July 2023, after a remarkable display in the ongoing FIFA Women's World Cup against Australia's Matildas (the co-hosts) which ended 3-2 in favour of Nigeria, Rasheedat flaunted religious paraphernalia to profess her faith.
If Rasheedat can defy the odds and be unashamed, what's stopping you?
